When I became a geek (or not!)

Hi people, how have you been? I spent time some weeks ago at the Geek girls' collaborative camp which took place at the Computer science department of the University of Ibadan. This camp was actually organised for secondary school and University students but I was fascinated, applied and was chosen to attend as a Teacher, and it was free, snack and lunch inclusive!

Kudos to the chief organiser, Dr Yetunde Folajimi and her able team.
The event featured game programming using two platforms: Scratch and Unity. I passed my boundary (lol) by choosing to go with the Unity class (it's more complicated and requires some level of coding, and cramming which i totally abhor!) I really enjoyed other sessions though like when Dr Yetunde taught us about google and its advantages.

Watching the high school girls code and all shows that there really is hope for this country o!
Let's encourage our girls to break through every glass ceiling and reach for their goals.
So I ended up creating a simple game of catch using Scratch programming for my babies much later.
