FOTD: Sultry spring time look

Hi folks thanks for stopping by. I wore a muted sultry spring look yesterday and I got a lot of oohs and ahhs. So i decided to do a blog post on it. Here are the products i used and the techniques as well. If you would like to see a video of it, please send me a mail or make a comment via www.beessignature.blogspot.com.
Products used:
Moisturizer: extra virgin coconut oil (yes I've got combination skin but coconut oil seeps into the skin so no fear of shine. It's fab and on sale at our studio)
Face primer: milk of magnesia
Foundation: Revlon colorstay for combination to oily skin, cappuccino
Set with Zarina loose powder nz25
Highlights: black opal stick foundation,  nutmeg ser with Ben nye banana powder
Contours: Revlon colorstay in mocha and black opal stick foundation in carob set with contour kit
Brows: jordana twist up pencil and zaron brow kit
Eyelid: zaron browkit
Crease: red shadow in sleek limited edition palette, zaron brow kit dark brown
Outer v: black matte sleek shadow
Lip: island beauty pink soufflé
Mascara: NYC volume max
Liner: maybelline collosal kajal
Setting powder: milani mineral
I started with my brows, then went on to do my foundation,  highlighting and contouring.  I eft the Ben nye powder to set on my highlights while working on my eyes. This will also serve as a catcher for loose shadow fall offs.
To get a sharp edge, I used plaster ri set out an edge at the outer corner of my eye.
I started with the red color in my crease as the transition color then put the brown over it and on my eyelid. Lastly I put the black at the outer edge and blended all together.  I actually did not use a primer. Just damp brushes.
I lined with my kajal and added my mascara. At this point, I dusted of the Ben nye powder
I used my foundation as a base for my lips, the added a bit of the pink soufflé I iwanted a nude effect and I think I nailed it.
Lastly I set the whole look with my milani powder.
And that's it!
Like I said earlier, if you want a video tutorial just Holla and I'll
Make it happen.
Xoxo
